The theatrical promo for Karan Johar’s upcoming film opens with shots of an autistic Tanay Chheda, the kid going from Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par to Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire to playing the young Shah Rukh Khan in this film.

His mother tells him that there are only two kinds of people in the world, the good and the bad.

Cut to rain and tears on the grown Khan’s face, and his voiceover calling himself different but not mad, very intelligent.

As he taps his forehead and calls himself ‘very smart’, SRK looks to be in fine form. The narrative continues as we see an increasingly romantic montage of shots of him and Kajol .

Then one day… cut to dramatically scored serious montage. Images of death, mourning, 9/11. And then a rather painful shriek from Kajol.

Then Khan is being racially profiled and strip-searched in an American airport, and ask why he wants to go to Washington. His answer? He has something to say to the President.

The next montage — each is bigger than the next — shows him trying to meet the President, a move the voiceover tells us will help him win Kajol back. He gets an elbow to the face, and is clearly going through a lot.

The shots are all heavily designed frames, and Ravi K Chandran isn’t skimping on the spectacular. The promo ends with Shah Rukh saying, ‘My name is Khan, and I’m not a terrorist.’

Dance Premier League a unique dance format that is soon to go on air on Sony Entertainment Television has been creating news all through its audition phases. At the on-going auditions of Dance Premier League, Bebo was seen cheering the Mumbai aspirants amidst lots of fun, frolic and fanfare. Kareena came to support and encourage the West Zone team on Dance Premier League and promote her film ‘Main Aurr Mrs Khanna’.

Sony’s up coming dance reality show, Dance Premier League is all set to come on air next month.

According to Source, “The show will be starting either on 3 or 8 October. The time slot given to the show may be 8:00 pm as Rani Padmini has gone off air. This is the only empty slot on Sony for now.

“Only Mumbai is remaining now. The show will be telecasting the auditions too as it has many big faces, from Salman Khan to Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu.” Source added

‘Dance Premier League’ has been creating news right through its audition phases. After auditioning in Chandigarh, Amritsar and Delhi, the final team from the North was picked by Salman Khan . Salman was joined by hosts Eijaz Khan and Sara Khan along with Shiamak Davar and Arshad Warsi who would be seen playing a key role in the show.

Sony Entertainment Television has announced the auditions for Dance Premier League, a unique dance format. The show promises to highlight India’s rich and diverse culture from each region- each with its own flavor and unique identity.

Bollywood is gearing up for the clash of the titans. But this time it would not be on the screen or in any award function but on the small screen.

The latest buzz is that there is merely one slot up for grabs and both Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar are eyeing it. The two stars who are seen as big rivals at the Box Office don’t want to miss this golden opportunity of being a part of the show. Dance Premier League would offer them a solid platform for promoting their films. There are also rumours that Salman is trying to settle his scores with Shahrukh by trying to get Akshay on-board.

Sony TV is successfully roping in all the Bollywood biggies for their mega dance talent hunt Dance Premier League, which will be produced by Cineyug.

Five teams from the North, East, West, South and Central zones of India and one NRI team will compete. One star will represent each zone.

According to Sources”Salman Khan will be present during the North zone auditions. He will also be promoting his upcoming film co-starring Kareena Kapoor, Mr and Mrs. Khanna.”

Kareena Kapoor : Will represent the West Zone

Bipasha Basu: She will be the face of the East Zone will be represented by Bipasha Basu.

Arshad Warsi : He will cheer for the south.

Preity Zinta: The Bollywood stars for the Central and NRI Zones haven’t yet been finalised. Preity Zinta is in talks for the Central Zone. It all depends on the dates of the stars and the dates of the zonal shows.

There are talks of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol also representing the NRI Zone to promote their film My Name Is Khan as the film is based around NRIs.

Madhuri Dixit has been roped for the first judge of the show. Shiamak Davar will be another judge.

Over 2,000 people had turned up to audition for SET’s new show — Dance Premier League — while the venue has only 675 seats. Perturbed by the high number of participants, the organisers of the event, Cineyug Worldwide, cancelled the audition, irking the people who had gathered at Kamani Auditorium since early morning.

According to sources, participants started arriving at the venue as early as 3 am. By 8 am, when gates were to open for the audition, around 2,000 people were waiting for the audition to begin. As the crowd got restive, the organisers announced that the event was cancelled. The crowd then began to pelt stones at the venue, protesting against the channel and the organisers.

Later, police was called in who tried to disperse the angry crowd.

Sony Entertainment Television is hitting the television screen big time by launching the largest dancing reality show to be ever created by the name “Dancing Premiere League”. The show is due to release on the small screen by the end of the month of October this year.

Dance Premier League is a unique format, where for the first time on Indian Television we will have teams (selected through All India Auditions) from all zones of India – North, West, East, Central, South and even one team of NRIs’.

If reports are to be believed, then Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan, who have been avoiding each other in all social gathering, will soon be seen together in a new reality show, ‘Dance Premier League’.

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will cheer up their respective teams from different zones in the competition. A time may come during the show when they will face each other on the show and battle it out amongst themselves for the coveted prize. If and when it happens, it will be for the first time that the two superstars of bollywood will be sharing the same platform.

Gorgeous Katrina Kaif, sizzling hot sexy bombshell Bipasha Basu and dancing sensation Prabhu Deva are the other stars likely to cheer other zonal teams on the show.

Dance Premier League (DPL) is an upcoming dancing Reality Show which will soon be aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

For the purpose, Cineyug and Sony Entertainment Television have joined hands for a dance talent hunt which will cover all six regions of India.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit could be seen in the roles of judges in the talent hunt.
